Online: Ways to Pay

Earning your Loyola degree online offers you the opportunity to get a top-ranked degree on your budget.

We want to make sure you understand all of your options when it comes to covering the cost of your education, so that you can decide what works best for you.

Applying for financial aid is easier than most people think and most students are eligible for some type of assistance, regardless of family income. Plus, it’s risk-free! You are not obligated to accept any federal financial aid awards you are offered.

The first step in applying for a federal financial aid package – both federal grants and student loans – is to complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online for the current school year.

The FAFSA is not required for enrollment, but we encourage all interested students to complete one as soon as possible after completing an application to one of Loyola’s online programs.

Visit the Check your eligibility page for more details and instructions for filling out the FAFSA, as well as the financial aid application process.

Loyola University New Orleans participates in several different programs for students who are eligible for VA benefits. To determine which benefit(s) you may be eligible for, please review the educational programs on the Veterans Affairs website. The most popular program is the Post-9/11 GI Bill. If you are 100% eligible, you will receive $26,671 annually in tuition and fees. If you utilize this amount, you will also be eligible for The Yellow Ribbon Program through which Loyola will provide you up to an additional $12,000 in financial aid, which Veterans Affairs will then match.”

If your employer offers a tuition reimbursement plan, you may be eligible for a payment extension of 90% of your tuition and fees. Although transcripts and diplomas are not released until the final payment is received, this deferral may be helpful to you. Please review requirements for the Tuition Deferral Program here.

Note: A new Employer Reimbursement Agreement form must be submitted each semester.

Interest-free payment plans are available to online students over the course of the term or the school year. Interested students can find more information and enroll themselves in a monthly payment plan online. Registration fees apply.

Online students are able to apply for private student loans from the lender of their choice. Loyola cannot make any recommendations for lenders, but we will complete any necessary documents/certifications that a lender might request from the school.
